The South Sevier High School football team has had a perfect start to their young season as they are now 4-0. With dominating wins over Millard 27-0, Enterprise 52-12, the Rams have looked unstoppable in the last two games as they battled with North Sevier and Providence Hall.
After an August 26 Rams rally that came up just short to Beaver finishing in a 5-4 loss, SSHS was looking for a win against Millard.
The Piute High School Thunderbirds (8-5) hosted the Wayne High School Badgers (2-9) in Junction on September 5 in a 1A South Region game.
The Richfield High School football team (2-2) took on the undefeated North Sanpete Hawks (3-0) on September 5 in a 3A South Region game in Mount Pleasant.
The Piute Thunderbirds volleyball team (1-8) hosted the Wayne High School Badgers (3-2) on September 3 in Junction in a 1A Region 20 matchup.
The Gunnison High School girls tennis team made the trip to Richfield to play in a nonregion match on August 27. The Wildcats made pretty quick work of the matches as all six weren’t really close as RHS won the afternoon.
