All Stars Hit the GridironOne more game. The 1A-3A North vs. South high school football All Star Game was played on Saturday June 22 at Snow College’s Robert Stoddard Field at Terry Foote Stadium.Here, seven members of the State championship Richfield High School team were asked to come and showcase their talents. Nate Young, Cort Moon, Ashton White, Beck Giblette, Cayson Acrod, Kai Thomas, and Reggie Hafen. Invited from the South Sevier Rams were Anthony Cornealius, Landon Bagley, and Brock Hardinger. Zack Conway from San Juan High School ran for 58 yards and 2 scores on 7 carries. San Juan quarterback Parker Snyder ran for another score for the South and completed a 2-point conversion pass attempt to Trai Buhler (Canyon View) for all of the South’s points. Hunter Stevens (Manti) was the South’s leading receiver with 7 grabs for 97 yards.Wright (Grantsville) made field goals of 26 and 21 yards for the North and Zak Sargent (Morgan) ran for a 1-yard score as time expired for the North with Bracken Lassche (South Summit) completed 13 of 19 passes for 158 yards for the North and the North’s leading receiver was his teammate Mitchell Gempeler (4 rec, 63 yards).
