William T. Phelps, 86, of Hemet, California, passed away April 25, 2023. He was born Nov. 23, 1936, to Clyn and Lissie Phelps. He leaves behind his beautiful wife of 66 years, Brenda; siblings Thelma, Donna, Shirley, and James; son Douglas; grandchildren Christina, Daniel, Haley, Shaundra, and Mindy; and last but not least, 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Clyn and Lissie; and daughters, Denise and Desiree.

He loved going on adventures with his wife, people watching, going out for breakfast, chocolate chip cookies, telling jokes, and spending time with family — especially the little ones.

Bill served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Even after retiring, he stayed busy with various jobs and always had a project going at home.
Those who knew him loved him. He was a true gentleman in every way and will be missed dearly.

He will be buried at the Riverside National Cemetery in California May 5, 2023.
