JOSEPH — Barbara Jean Nickle Balch, 73, returned home to her Heavenly Father surrounded by her family Thursday, April 20, 2023, in Provo. She was born May 18, 1949, in Springfield, Missouri.
She had such a strong testimony of her Savior Jesus Christ and she loved going to the temple. She always led by example. She held many church callings and loved serving others. She was a talented quilter, and loved spending time in the outdoors but most of all she loved her family. She loved spending time with husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandkids by teaching them many things. She spent 26 years as a special ed teacher where her quiet strength helped so many children make it through their school career and they will always remember her for it. She loved her students and their families. Barbara and Terry just celebrated 52 wonderful years together.
Barbara was always serving and ministering to others, so many people have been blessed by her hands. She will be missed very much!
