ROBERT FETTER

ST. GEORGE — Robert Joseph Fetter, 88, passed away March 15, 2023, in St. George. He was born July 3, 1934, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Robert Joseph Fetter and Clarice Morillo. On March 11, 1972, he married Joyce Bates at the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George temple. Bob definitely loved his wife and family and would do anything for them.
Bob attended school in Charleston and completed two years of college. He served in the Air Force from 1954 -1958. He graduated from the space program. He worked for the Department of Energy at EG&G at the test site for over 30 years.
He enjoyed tinkering in the garage, being a mechanic to every vehicle in the family. He could make any kind of PC board for any electronic device. He was a fanatic of clocks, clocks, and more clocks. He collected model cars, trucks and war planes. He loved recording movies and taking pictures.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Jon) Montgomery, Las Vegas, Nevada; Sheila (Chris) Flores, Beaver; and Alesha Carsten, St. George; grandchildren, Nash Lamprecht, Breezy (Ryan) Banks, Trey Flores, Karissa Carsten, Colton Carsten, Ricky Flores and Kristina (Teo) Ramirez; great-granddaughters, Skylen Lamprecht, Tatum Flores-Butcher, Harmony Ramirez, and Brooklynn and Braelynn Banks; as well as great-grandsons, Teo Jr. Ramirez, Braxton Banks, and Kobain Flores.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce. She preceded him in death Dec. 4, 2022, after 50 years of marriage. They were only separated three months. Also, his parents; granddaughter, Kayla Nicole Flores, and grandson, Shayne Allen Flores.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 25, at 1:30 p.m. in the Richfield City Cemetery.
