VALERIA KING

Funeral services for Ellen Valeria Smith King took place Feb. 25, in the Circleville ward chapel, with Bishop Marcus Gleave conducting.

A family prayer was shared by Mark King (son) and the invocation was given by Jon Ogden (grandson).

The organist was Austin Jorgensen (grandson-in-law), with chorister Kacie Hale (granddaughter).

Musical selections included congregational hymns of “Families Can Be Together Forever” and “Love One Another.” The grandchildren gave “Grandma” and “A Child’s Prayer” accompanied by Kasey King (grandson) with chorister Kenzie Peterson (granddaughter).

“In Mom’s Words” was given by Lana Ogden (daughter). Memories of Mom were given by children Lana, Tom, Bruce, Mark, Claudia, Julia, Susan, Polly, Ron and Heidi. A tribute was given by Bruce King (son).

Closing remarks were provided by Bishop Gleave and the benediction was offered by Shaylie Young (granddaughter).

Pallbearers included Mike Ogden, Gary Gericke, Eugene King, Skyler King, MicKlane Farmer, Tyson Camp, Blake Henson, Tyler Weenig, Kaden King, Josh Sederholm, and the late Karson Peterson.

Honorary pallbearers included the rest of Valeria’s grandsons.

Casket escorts included all of Valeria’s granddaughters.

Interment was in the Antimony Cemetery.

The dedicatory prayer was provided by Ron King (son).

Compassionate services were provided by the Antimony LDS ward Relief Society.
