Kristi Marie Meacham Balaszi, 44, passed away Feb. 22, 2023, in Richfield. She was born June 21, 1978, in Richfield to Kerry John Meacham and Patricia Anne Jensen.

Kristi will be greatly missed by her family. She devoted her life to her children. She loved her family, children and friends with all her heart.

Throughout her life The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints guided her. She welcomed and helped anyone in need. She would often put their needs above hers. She was loyal, perceptive, and fiercely caring. Empathetic beyond limits.

Kristi loved to sing karoke and dance. She enjoyed going on rides, especially through Hepler’s Pond, playing board and card games, and watching cop shows. Her children said her cooking was wonderful, and she loved to celebrate holidays, birthday and family gatherings.

Kristi had many goals and worked tirelessly to achieve them. She was going to SUU online for her associate’s degree to become a teacher. She was graduating April 2023. She loved kids, and the children she helped at Ashman loved her too.

She is survived by her children, Keonie Balaszi, Christian Balaszi, Kailie Balaszi, Ciara Balaszi, and Kamon Meacham; parents, Kerry Meacham and Pat Fassett; siblings, Barry (Karissa) Meacham, Marianne (Clay) Turner, Cody Meacham, and Aspen Meacham.

Thank you to her family, friends, and church members who loved and helped her.

Public visitation will be held Wednesday, March 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield, followed by cremation services in the Magleby Mortuary Crematory.
