INA FROST

Ina Elizabeth Findlay Frost, 79, passed away Jan. 21, 2023, at Utah Valley Regional Hospital following surgery from a fall. She was surrounded by her girls and their families.

Ina was born in Kanab, Feb. 22, 1943, to Alexander Duncan and Rhoana Sawyer Findlay. She was the only daughter in the family with an older brother, A.D., and a younger brother, John.

Ina knew and grew up with her eternal companion, David Carson Frost. They were married Sept 2, 1960, and were later sealed together for time and all eternity in the St George temple.

Ina was a faithful and devoted wife and mother to Dave and their 5 daughters. She spent her life caring for those she loved. She truly made our house a home and a safe sanctuary.

She spent countless hours each week making beautiful Barbie dresses for her 5 girls. We thought she had some mad sewing skills.

Her girls learned by example and knew the importance of hard work- whether inside or outside the home along with getting an education and becoming independent.

What a glorious reunion it must have been to be reunited with the love of her life after 13 years!

Whenever “all of the girls” see sunflowers, ladybugs or birdhouses we will always think of you, Mom. You were our world and there is a giant hole in our hearts now that you are gone.

Ina was preceded in death by the love of her life, David Carson Frost; parents; 2 brothers; and great-grandson, Grayson Taylor Walker.

She leaves behind her 5 daughters, Danette (Bob) Nentwich, Richfield; Kimberli (Jeff) Lowther, Provo; Elizabeth (Mike) Walker, Vineyard; Kathleen Frost, Kanab; Suzanne (Greg) Gordon, Orem; as well as 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

“A mother holds her children’s hands for a while…their hearts forever.”

A private service for family will be held Feb. 11, under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary.
