RHS Swim ‘Last Chance’ Invitational
The Richfield High School men’s and women’s swim teams competed at the Last Chance Invitational on January 27, in Carbon.After a full day of swimming, the results were pretty favorable for the Richfield teams with some great individual performances and relay teams as well.Sienna Blackner, Riley Gough, Avah Kling, and Brooke Maxfield earned first place in the Girls 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay.

Wildcats Hold Football Banquet
The undefeated State Championship Richfield High School football team celebrated their history making season with a final banquet on January 22.Players, coaches, parents, and family came to Richfield High School to celebrate accomplishments, give out awards, eat, watch highlight videos, and show appreciation to all who made this past football season the best in school history.Head coach Eric Thorson ran the show acknowledging players, football coaches from the elementary grades to his current high schools coaching staff, the janitorial staff, wives and family of coaches, parent photographers and videographers, team managers, parents, medical trainers, and of course, the players that put in all the time and work into becoming state champions.Some of the awards given were on the state level including the Deseret News awards.

Spartans Down the Wildcats
The Richfield High School basketball team lost to Emery High School 53-39, on January 26, bringing Richfield’s season record to 11-7 with four games left in the regular season.

Hall of Fame Induction at South Sevier High School
South Sevier High School added another inductee, Land Clark, into their prestigious school Hall of Fame, on January 26.
