RHS Baseball Competes

The Richfield Wildcats baseball teams are only three weeks out of school and have already been hitting the diamond running.The Rick Burningham RBI baseball tournament held in Panguitch on June 7 and 8 proved to be a very favorable weekend for the Wildcats as they fought their way to be crowned the champions of the entire tournament!Just a week later, the Utah Summer Games in Cedar City hosted another team of 8 RHS teammates and four players from other high schools wearing Wildcat white uniforms under RHS head coach Drew Hill.The team played their way to championship day on June 15 as they ended in fourth place overall as they continued their summer baseball play.“This was the second week in a row where we had a Richfield team play on Championship Day of a tournament,” said Coach Hill.
