On June 29, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints held a pinewood derby for their youth.

The 2024 MacNeal Magleby Service Award was presented to Glen and Roxey Taylor at the Richfield Patriotic program on June 30.The MacNeal Magleby Service Award is presented each year to someone who has made a significant difference in our community.


On June 30, the Sevier Valley Center theater was packed once again this year as hundreds came to take part in the outstanding musical program that is Richfield City’s Independence Day patriotic program.This celebration has been taking place for over 30 years and has become the perfect way to kick off the Independence Day festivities.The presentation of the colors was performed by the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard, the Pledge of Allegiance was offered by Chad White, and the National Anthem was performed by the string group, Tune it Up.

There’s no question that Richfield has become one of the best places to celebrate Independence Day in rural Utah.

During the summer, Utah celebrates with fireworks as part of its holiday traditions.
