Salt Lake City, UT (March 5, 2025) – The Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault (UCASA) is calling on community members and the media to bring attention to a devastating decision by the Executive Appropriations Committee (EAC) to eliminate all sexual assault prevention funding from the state budget. This decision comes after the Social Services Appropriations Committee recommended $1,625,000 of funding for sexual assault prevention and puts most prevention programs across the state at risk of shutting down.
The Central Utah Health Department (CUHD) is pleased to announce its annual Help Hands Resource Fair which will be in Piute County on Thursday, March 20 from 5-7 p.m. at Piute High School, and Sevier County on Monday, April 21 from 5-7 p.m. at the Sevier County Fairgrounds.
