The New Horizon Crisis Center (NHCS), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting women in need, invites the community to its upcoming Galentine’s Day Party on February 7 at the Sevier County Fairgrounds starting at 6 p.m. This special event aims to foster connection, celebrate women, and raise funds to continue NHCS’s vital work.

“This is something our director has envisioned for a long time,” shared Brooke Roundy, volunteer program coordinator for NHCS. “We wanted to create an event that uplifts and celebrates women while also contributing to our mission of supporting those in need.”

For a limited time, tickets have been marked down to $45 per person if purchased prior to Wed., Feb. 29.

The tickets will be $50 at the door if not purchased ahead of time, includes dinner and a guided paint class led by talented artist Sara Henline, a Manti native now based in Queen Creek, Arizona. “We’re thrilled to have Sara join us,” said Roundy. “Her creativity and passion make her the perfect fit for an event focused on connection and growth.”

In addition to the main activities, attendees can enjoy sweet treats, flash tattoos, and fun BFF photo sessions. While these extra services are not included in the ticket price, many vendors are generously donating a portion—or all—of their proceeds to NHCS.

“We’ll also have drawings and prizes throughout the event,” said Sheri Thompson, prevention coordinator. “Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we’re giving away over $1,000 in door prizes, including boudoir photo shoots, foot zoning sessions, home décor, and more.”

This event is open to sisters, mothers, friends, and women of all walks of life who want to celebrate the power of community and the joy of spending time together.

The NHCS’s mission to serve women in need underpins the event, ensuring that every participant contributes to making a difference in the lives of others. As Roundy noted, “This is about more than just one evening—it’s about lifting each other up and creating a ripple effect of positivity and support.”

Join NHCS for an evening of laughter, creativity, and sisterhood as we come together to celebrate women and strengthen our community.
