Because Piute School District adopted a four-day school week, Oscarson Elementary students will change their school spirit days to Thursday. Students are encouraged to wear their bulldog t-shirts or a black or blue shirt (school colors) on Thursdays. By wearing their OES shirts, students have an opportunity to earn bulldog points. With enough points, they can have a bulldog party.
On Sept. 11, at 6 p.m., there will be a public hearing on the school consolidation proposal. The hearing will take place in the auditorium at Piute High School. Please plan on attending.
The Marysvale Ladies’ Luncheon will be held Friday, Sept. 1 at 1 p.m. The group will be meeting at Big Rock Restaurant.
The local camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers will begin meeting again Monday, Sept. 11, at 1 p.m. They meet in the Relief Society room at the Marysvale building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
