RHS Names Troy Jones as New Girls Basketball Coach
With the retirement of legendary and longtime Richfield High School girls basketball head coach Marc Peterson after adding one final State Championship this last season, the hunt for a new head coach didn’t take very long at all.Troy Jones has been named the new head coach after serving as an assistant Varsity coach and the Freshman team head coach for the last nine seasons at RHS.

Wolves take on the Bulldogs
The Wolves varsity baseball team took on the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs in a non-conference game on April 10.The Bulldogs walked away with a loss to the fierce Wolves, who won the field 18-12.The Wolves started off strong with two runs the first and second innings, and gaining strength in the third inning with five runs where the Bulldogs only managed three.In the fourth inning, the Bulldogs tried hard and got seven runs against the Wolves’ five runs.The Wolves didn’t slow down in the fifth inning, getting three runs where the Bulldogs only managed one.In the sixth inning, the Bulldogs got 1-0 and in the seventh inning the Wolves got 1-0.
