Richfield takes down Manti

It was a senior night to remember as the Richfield Wildcats took on the Manti Templars on October 22.Many of these RHS seniors have been playing volleyball together since rec ball in elementary school and really wanted that last win of the regular season at home.Macie Barton, Jordyn Bagley, Abbee Albrecht, Preslie Harward, Sophie Belnap, and Georgia Jones got exactly that!

Snow College kicks off wrestling season

The Snow College men’s and women’s wrestling teams began their third season as NJCAA-sanctioned sports with the Blue and Orange Duel on Thursday night, October 24 at Sevier Valley Center in Richfield.During the third annual Blue and Orange Duel, 62 student-athletes – 28 men and 34 women – compete to determine the 10-person competition team that will participate in meets once the competition season commences in November.Within the past two seasons, the Snow College wrestling team on the Richfield campus has gained momentum becoming more competitive.In their first year, the men’s wrestling team claimed 22nd place, then improved to 18th this last 2023-24 season at the NJCAA National Championship Tournament over the weekend in Council Bluffs, Iowa.The women’s team’s first season concluded with a seventh-place finish, while the 2023-24 season finished with a sixth-place spot.

RHS takes second straight region title

The Richfield High School football team completed its second straight perfect regular season on October 18 as they visited the North Sanpete Hawks (3-6) in Mount Pleasant.The Wildcats usual explosive first quarter offense didn’t really come out until the second quarter when senior Malik Fautin ran for a 35 yard touchdown off the pass from senior Griffin Wayman.
