With the high school football season ending on Saturday November 16, there wasn’t much of a turnaround time for many Richfield High School players as they held basketball tryouts just two days later and played their first game two days after that.On Wednesday November 20, the Wildcats boys basketball team made the drive to Cedar City to take on Cedar High School in a non region opening game.The Wildcats scored a respectable 16 points in the first quarter and 21 in the second as they went into halftime up 37-23 behind some terrific play by Richfield’s Jorgen Southwick.
The South Sevier High School girls basketball team opened its 2024/25 season as they hosted Emery High School in a non region contest on Tuesday November 19.The Rams of South Sevier came out looking good as they put up 19 points in the first quarter and wracked up 23 points in the second.
The Snow College women’s wrestling team showcased their depth and determination at the ERUA Mile High Open on Friday in Prescott, Arizona.
