Richfield High School administration recognized and thanked senior cheerleaders Ava Udy, Andie Dalton, Mylee Fautin, Elliott Lindsey, Sydney Anderson, and Kaitley Torgersen on January 31 for their 20+ years combined high school cheer-leading experience.
Passion, drive, dedication, hard work, perseverance, and consistency have been what has made up the Richfield High School drill team this year. The Richfield Revenettes have performed numerous times at football halftimes clear up to the State championship games. They currently have been perfecting routines at RHS basketball games as well.
After months and months of waking up before the sun came out, getting to practice, perfecting routines, taking the Region title, and walking out onto that UVU court at the mother of all competitions, you take one last breath as the crowd silences themselves for just a second as the music turned on and instinct, memory, and adrenaline take over.
With the RHS successful 3A State championship runner up 2024 volleyball season, these talented student athletes earned some much deserved awards as a result.
Cheer: Shouts of joy, praise, encouragement, confidence, optimism, comfort, enthusiasm, and support. For a high school teenager to pick a sport where their responsibility is to cheer and encourage other competing athletes, fans in the stands, and a next generation, is pretty remarkable.
Tuesday, January 21 the Enterprise Lady Wolves came to town to challenge the Ladycats in a wresting duel during senior night.
