On Thursday, Jan. 12th, 2023, Bridger David Card, beloved son, brother and uncle, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family. Bridger was born in Orem Feb. 7th, 1993, to David Harold and Linda Eddington. Bridger graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 2011. Bridger was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor at the age of two. For another twenty-seven years, those of us who were lucky enough to know him, knew love. All while fighting the most difficult of earthly battles, Bridger cared for, joked with, and enriched the lives of everyone who came in contact with him. His family and friends (and even some strangers) became quite used to the phrase “Where’s my hug?” and knew that a giant bear hug was coming their way. Bridger had a passion for hunting, fishing, and terrible dad jokes. He enjoyed trips to Lake Powell with his family and snuggling his dog, Maverick. He was well-known for his kind and compassionate spirit, as well as his giving nature. Bridger is preceded in death by his grandfather, Darrell Card, and his grandmother, Helen Eddington, both Alpine. He is survived by his grandma, Wynnette Card; his grandfather, Darrell Eddington; his father, David (Angie) Card; his mother, Lin (Bryan) Thompson; his sisters, Jessica (Jaron) Hilton and Kayla (Bronson) Vernon; his brothers, Colter (Heidi) Card and Dawson Card; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. at the church located at 353 East 400 North in Spanish Fork. There will be a viewing on Thursday, Jan. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Jan. 20 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the church. Thomas “Tom” Henry Crowther, 80, passed away Jan. 10, 2023, in Provo.

BICKNELL — Elvin Kay Taft, 71, passed away Jan. 9, 2023, at his home in Bicknell, after a short battle with cancer.

BICKNELL - Blanche Taylor Brinkerhoff, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away Jan. 4, 2023, in Alpine.

CIRCLEVILLE - George Dennis Morgan passed away unexpectedly from natural causes Dec. 28, 2022.

James Nowling, 76, passed away Jan. 2, 2023, in Stanton, Arizona, where he had been staying for the winter. He was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Coalville to Perry Manford and Belva Mae Lewis Nowling. He married Marja J. Smit Feb. 27, 1976, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death Aug. 10, 2014. An example of a passionate servant, Jim was loved and admired by many. He developed a passion for helping and caring for people at a young age. He helped his mother intently after she became blind, and provided care for the love of his life and sweetheart, Marja, the last years of her life. Jim worked at UDOT from 1965 to 2000 and retired with 35 years of service during from which he received many awards and accommodations. The day after retiring he went back to work with Hales Sand & Gravel (Staker Parsons) and worked until 2013. Jim was a great example for work ethic which he passed on to his children. For several years of his life he spent serving many local, state and district position with the Elks Association.

ELSINORE - Marilyn Gardiner Peterson Holm, 76, Elsinore, passed away Dec. 13, 2022, in Monroe surrounded by two of her three daughters and a granddaughter.
