MONROE — Patricia Ann Smith Taylor was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, greatgrandmother, aunt and friend. She completed the mortal portion of her eternal life unexpectedly where she was reunited with her husband, David Roger Taylor, daughter, parents, siblings and friends Dec. 5, 2022, in St George. She was born Jan. 5, 1947, to Josephine Price and Howard Lee Smith in Tremonton. She met her husband when she was just a teenager and decided that she would spend the rest of her life building a family and beautiful life with him. They were married on March 29, 1963. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George temple. Together, they have 12 children, 41 grandchildren, and 9 greatgrandchildren.

Our beloved mother, sister, daughter, wife and friend to many, passed away Nov. 27, 2022, in Colorado. Nicole Aaron Hyde, 41, was born Nov. 25, 1981, in Richfield. Nicole spent most of her time building her life in Richfield. She graduated from Richfield High School and went on to further her education as a cosmetologist and as a CNA.

ST. GEORGE — Joyce Bates Fetter, 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep Dec. 4, 2022, in St. George. She was born on March 2, 1945, in Richfield to Henry J. and Nedra Olsen Bates. She married Herb Allen and later divorced. On March 11, 1972, in Las Vegas, Nevada, she married Robert J. Fetter at the Little Church of the West. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple.

John Carl Tuft, 92, Washington, was born in Monroe, to Leonard and Bernice Shurtz Tuft March 31, 1930. He died peacefully in his sleep Dec. 9, 2022, in Washington City. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.

VENICE — Lillian Cowley Jolley suffered a devastating fall and died as a result of her injuries on Dec. 9, 2022, in Murray, surrounded by family and friends. She was born April 2, 1935, to Rodney A. and Urania May Cowley in Venice. She worked hard on the farm, raising animals with her six sisters and one brother. She graduated from Richfield High School in 1953.

SALINA — Hope Lyn Oryall Larsen, 47, Salina, passed away Nov. 29, 2022, in Payson. She was born March 23, 1975, in Payson, a daughter of David Rae and Denise Lyn Jackson Oryall. Hope married Mathew Max Larsen Aug. 28, 1999, in Salina. They had two wonderful children, Baylee Dawn and Beau Thunder. Matt preceded her in death June 3, 2018.

MONROE — Our beloved mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, sister, and friend, Lorraine Williams Jensen, 81, Monroe, passed away peacefully Nov. 13, 2022, in Provo.

GUNNISON – Saundra Verna Andreason Coates, 80, passed away on the afternoon of Nov. 26, 2022, in Centerfield. Saundra will be remembered as a kind and caring friend, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born March 9, 1942, in Salina to Ray and Verna Larson Andreason. As a young girl, she loved animals, caring for her younger siblings, and taking flights in her father’s small airplane.

ELSINORE — Carolyn Mae Hammond, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Dec. 2, 2022, in Richfield. She was born on Oct. 31, 1929, in Albany, California, to Edwin and Beatrice Eckwall.

Bruce David Morrell, 62, passed away Dec. 2, 2022, at his home in Richfield. He was born Oct. 9, 1960, in Richfield, a son of Brent Milton and Maurine Allen Morrell. He grew up in Fremont and graduated from Wayne High School, class of ’78.
