Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner

It was a sea of campaign signs lining the sidewalk on the path to the doors of the Sorenson Administration building at the Snow College Richfield campus leading to the Sevier County Republican Party Lincoln Day dinner, on February 27.A Lincoln Day Dinner is an annual celebration of the Republican Party and a fundraising event for Republican Party affiliated organizations at the county level.Sevier County Republican Party Chairman Rick Robinson, Vice Chair Rick Pruit, Secretary Jeanna Ogden, and Central Committee Representative Dan Jorgensen welcomed in over 200 attendees including county and city leaders, business owners, candidates, and general voters.Information booths lined the halls where candidates introduced themselves to the public and discussed their views and sought to get voters’ support.

Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Set for Annual Banquet

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s mission statement reads ‘Ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat, and our hunting heritage.’ This vision is alive and well in Sevier County as the Fishlake Chapter holds their annual Fishlake Big Game banquet on March 9, in Richfield.The Fishlake Chapter has been holding this annual banquet on and off in Richfield since 1992.
