Utah high school activities association approves esports as official activity starting 2025-2026 school year

SALT LAKE CITY, UT - March 29, 2024 - The Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) has announced a groundbreaking decision to officially sanction esports as an activity, marking a significant milestone in the Association’s efforts to provide increased opportunities for student engagement.Following a unanimous vote by the UHSAA Board of Trustees on Thursday, March 28, esports has been formally recognized as a sanctioned activity beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.

Community Egg Hunt Brings Smiles

It was a sea of children and bright plastic Easter eggs on the lawn at the Snow College Richfield campus on March 22 as hundreds of children filled their bags to take home.The annual Easter Egg Hunt by Thalman Orthodontics and Richfield City Parks and Recreation was a big hit again this year.
