‘Libraries with Heart’ provides free access to a healthy heart

At the Tri-County Library Bookmobile, rural individuals have the convenience of borrowing books and movies, accessing free Wi-Fi, and now, blood pressure equipment all with the use of a library card.The American Heart Association’s “Libraries with Heart” program is helping by providing self-monitoring blood pressure kits and educational materials for understanding and tracking your blood pressure, as well as access to medical resources.An estimated one in four Utahn’s suffer from hypertension, a condition when the pressure in your blood vessels is too high.
