Richfield Chamber hosts Mulligan Masters

Sponsorship signs, the revving of the golf carts, donated raffle prizes lining the tables,scorecards ready to be filled out, mulligans being purchased if needed, the morning sunlight peeking over the east mountain, and finally, the ball being smacked off the tee was the scene of the annual Richfield Area Chamber of Commerce Mulligans Masters golf tournament held Friday June 7 at Cove View Golf Course.The Mulligan Master golf tournament has been going on for decades as the Richfield Area Chamber of Commerce has given the local Chamber members and other businesses in the area an opportunity to get their company name, logos, products, services, and faces out there to the public.This year, twenty six teams of four came together to play in the scramble format last Friday.

Richfield 4th of July Grand Marshals announced

If you have been around Sevier County over the last three decades, you’ve probably heard, met, or been affected by the kindness, generosity, and genuine care for others that is Rick and Kathryn Robinson.Recently, Richfield City Independence Day parade director, Justin Jepson announced the Board’s decision after being nominated twice this year that the Robinsons will be this year’s Independence Day parade grand marshals.Rick Robinson graduated from North Sevier High School in 1976, followed by serving a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Richfield High School announces this fall’s school musical will be the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast.As many may know, the story follows a young prince who falls under a curse by an Enchantress, as punishment for his selfishness and cruelty.

Richfield Memorial Day program

It was a fitting tribute to the men and women who gave their lives in the name of freedom as a Memorial Day program was presented by Richfield City on May 27, at the Richfield City cemetery.Over 70 people in attendance sat in chairs and on the lawn facing the decorated flag poles and monument which stood as a fitting backdrop to the talented performers, speakers, and veterans who so beautifully brought patriotism to life.Richfield City Mayor Bryan Burrows conducted the program as a presentation of the colors was performed by the local Alpha Battery 2/222 Field Artillery and a prayer was offered by Miss Richfield Alex Christensen.The National Anthem was beautifully sung by Rachel Kruger.The audience stood to pledge their allegiance as directed by Lexan Shumway 1st attendant and Payton Nelson 2nd attendant Miss Richfield.
