Sevier County Archives Department picks up momentum

The first Sevier County Archives and Heritage Services entire staff meeting was held on June 10 in the Sevier County building as two members of the State of Utah Division of Archives and Records Services from the Salt Lake area attended to show their support and say a few words about the importance of this new effort.New mayor appointed historians from all the surrounding area were in attendance as well as the youth historians, board members, and Sevier County commissioner Scott Johnson.

Mid Utah Radio Honors awarded

The best of the best in all of Division 1-3A high school sports from around the Mid-Utah radio station listening area gathered to honor the stellar student athletes from the 2023/2024 school year.Tuesday June 18 the Sevier County Fairgrounds in Richfield became center stage as the Mid-Utah Radio Sports Award Show was held.

Balloon festival grounded

The long awaited 17th annual Eyes to the Sky Balloon Festival in Salina became the place no wanted to miss on June 21-23.Trailers with pictures of hot air balloons being pulled by pickup trucks sat on the inside grassy area of the track at North Sevier middle School in the crisp 40/50 degree early morning temperatures.
