On Veteran’s Day you can usually plan on attending a patriotic program as a salute to the armed forces, maybe a breakfast or free lunch for military personnel, but something you don’t see very often is a gym workout that pushes even the toughest soldier physically and then is honored with gifts from the community.

Veterans Day Honors

Patriotism was on full display on Monday, November 11 throughout central Utah to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who have served our beloved United States of America.In Richfield, Veterans Day started off with a free breakfast being served at the Richfield Senior Center to all veterans, currently serving military personnel, and a guest.

New firemen at Richfield Fire Department

Richfield Fire Department announced on November 4 that they’ve added four new firemen to the crew.Dallas Failner, Jaren Anderson, Taylor Shamo and Andrew Kotter have already started in-house training and will start UFRA fire academy in January.“We congratulate them on making it through our rigorous interview process and elections to get on the department,” said Richfield Fire Department personnel.
