On Sunday, Jan. 26, Jeremy Foisy was promoted from Sergeant First Class (SFC) to First Sergeant (1SG) as part of the 2nd Battalion, 222nd Field Artillery, Alpha Battery. The ceremony was held alongside fellow soldiers in recognition of his dedication and leadership.

A semi-truck pursuit that began in Sevier County ended in flames just north of Beaver, causing the highway to be shut down for hours.
Last night, January 9, a commercial vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 70 near milepost 51 experienced a fire when the driver noticed smoke and flames coming from the trailer. The driver promptly detached the power unit from the trailer, but the trailer and its contents were quickly engulfed in flames.
