Prescribed upgraded to wildfire
Due to increased fire activity and movement outside the area to be burned this spring, the South Beaver prescribed burn has transitioned into a wildfire, now named Little Twist.
ARRL Field Day
The American Radio Relay League (ARRL) annually hosts the ARRL Field Day where more than 40,000 HAM radios throughout North America and Canada set up temporary transmitting stations in public place to demonstrate ham radio science, skills, and teach the general public about radio communications.This Saturday, June 22, the Sevier Amateur Radio Club will be hosting their own demonstration at the Richfield City Park from noon to 9:30 p.m.

Fishlake National Forest Richfield office grand opening
The Fishlake National Forest Richfield Ranger district and supervisors office hosted a grand opening at their new location at 115 E 900 N, on Wed., June 12.“This office was completely renovated and wanted to let the community know that we are here again,” said Mike Elson, forest supervisor Fishlake National Forest.
