Monroe hosts the Paragliding World Cup
For the first time in over a decade, the United States will host one of the Paragliding World Cup (PWC) locations, and it will take place in Monroe from Saturday, September 7 through Saturday, September 14.

CUFS receives donation
The Central Utah Food Sharing (CUFS) received a generous donation from the Bishop’s Store House in Lindon to assist in supporting the growing need in central Utah.“The Bishop’s Store House generously delivered 9.5 pounds of food to supplement the extra food we need to support our communities,” said Jeff Brown, executive director.
Alger earns Eagle Scout award
Jackson Alger, Richfield, earned his Eagle Scout award on August 28 as a member of Troop number 601, 10th Ward in Richfield.Jackson is a senior at Richfield High School.
