Members of the Richfield High School drama department performed at the annual Shakespeare competition held in Cedar City last week.“We would like to congratulate everyone who performed at Shakespeare competition.

The Snow College Richfield campus hosted a Tech Talk, on Thurs., October 3, where Robby Layton, business owner and entrepreneur, shared his insights on the automotive industry and the importance of a technical education.“I had a very influential teacher, Ben Shoppe, who introduced me to Wyo Tech,” said Layton.

On Saturday, October 5 the Richfield Home Depot hosted their annual kid’s safety day where the parking lot was lined with fun activities, fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, and the life flight helicopter.“The kids safety fair is my favorite day of the year, its even better than Christmas,” said Jaquel Christensen, Home Depot employee.Children enjoyed the many activities offered, including a Home Depot kids club building kit, coloring pages, and free helmets offered by the health department.

This past weekend, Richfield City Park on Main Street was filled with vintage cars, music, entertainment, and vendors in celebration of the 15th annual Rocktober in the Park.
