The town Christmas tree was decorated Nov. 30. It stands on the north-west corner Hwy. 89 and Bullion Canyon Road. On Dec. 6, the town Christmas tree lighting was held. Following that, was the Community Christmas Sing-Along at the town hall. Sloppy Joes, chips, and drinks were provided. Others brought their favorite desserts to share. John Innes read the Christmas story from the Gospel of Luke as a special tribute to McVoy Barben who passed away in October. McVoy was especially fond of this biblical passage.
