Mayors message — March
As I sit down to update our residents, I am reminded of a timeless quote: “Society grows great when old men plant trees, the shade of which they know they will never sit in.” These words resonate deeply as we reflect on the exciting projects and growth happening in Richfield—efforts that are not just for today, but for future generations. I’m excited to share updates on developments that will help improve both the infrastructure of our city and the quality of life for all of us.

A life of service and a pillar of the community
Ross Evon Brown lived a life of unwavering dedication to service, family, and community. His commitment to those he loved and his business, Brown’s Shoe and Boot Repair, was evident in every aspect of his life. Those who knew him recall his deep passion for baseball—especially the Dodgers—his love for fishing, his devotion to serving others through his store and church callings, and, above all, his profound love for his family.
