Sincere condolences are extended to the family and friends of Hortense J. Bullock who passed away in Georgia on March 15. Hortense Bullock and her husband, Dr. John E. Bullock, lived in Marysvale for many years before relocating to another state. The couple had been married nearly 80 years. Mrs. Bullock is mother of Chrissa Edwards and mother-in-law to Jonathan Edwards, the former paster of the Marysvale Baptist Church. The Bullocks dedicated years to doing missionary work overseas. Among the countries they served in was Bangladesh. While in Marysvale, they ran an art studio and offered classes. They are well known for their paintings of local structures and landscapes. Mrs. Bullock was laid to rest on March 29 in Monroe, GA.

Bingo Night Fundraiser for The Alzheimer’s Association — On Friday, April 4 6-8 p.m. a Bingo Night will be held at Snow College Richfield, Sorensen Building Room 147 to fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association. All funds support the cause. $5.00 per card Donation with a limit of 4 cards. Additionally “Minute to Win It” games and “Best Purple Outfit” Challenge.
Six years ago, Sevier School District was excited and honored to be awarded a School Climate Transformation Grant. This grant was a catalyst for creating lasting change in our schools, enabling us to focus on building a positive and supportive climate and culture. We want every student and staff member to feel valued, safe, and heard.
The Richfield Bible Church, located in Central Valley, held its groundbreaking ceremony last Sunday, March 22, for a 40-foot by 45-foot addition to the Fellowship Hall.
Ammon Tenney, a Richfield native, recently achieved a major milestone in his artistic career by showcasing his work at the Best of the West Show in Great Falls, Montana, held from March 20–23. The event brings together some of the finest artists in the Western United States to exhibit and sell their artwork.
