Our loving husband, father, grandfather and son, Nathan Bryant, 52, passed away April 20, 2023, at his home in Richfield, of complications from diabetes, a disease that he fought his entire life. He was born Jan. 10, 1971, in American Fork, a son of William David Dale Cullen and Janice LaRae Huntsman Bryant. He grew up in Pleasant Grove and graduated from high school. He attended Snow College in Richfield for a while.
Nathan is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
He met and married Jenny Rebecca Hodson Aug. 10, 2011, in St. George. Nathan worked at many youth treatment facilities throughout state and really enjoyed helping the boys that he met there. He was a great mentor for them. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. He like to crochet, make paracord bracelets and dream catchers. Nathan will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny, Richfield; mother, LaRae Bryant, Richfield; sister, April Bryant, St. George; children, Nathan R.C. and Shantell Bryant, Pleasant Grove; Kendra and Kyle Wilson, Veyo; Frankie and Kylie Steele, West Jordan; and Jazmyne and Nathan Williams, Eagle Mountain; stepchildren, Kaitlyn and Tyler Layton, Delta; Dillon Wood, William and Kinzie Wood, and Megan Wood, all Nephi; 20 grandchildren; and his mother-in-law. Laura Hodson, Magna.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Bryant; father-in-law, Robert Hodson; and three stepsons, Jason Mitchell, Michael Anthony, and Alexander Jeffery Wood.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 27, noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home chapel in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Thursday morning from 10 to 11:30 a.m., prior to the services.
