In response to the photo in the Oct. 17 edition of The Reaper, I’m not sure whether to shame you or applaud you for showing this picture to the public. Some of us take offense to seeing this published in our local paper.

Why do the people working on our roads think this is ok? You can’t tell me they don’t have a shovel on their truck to remove the cat first, before they stripe the road. The person in charge of this road crew should be shown this picture in hopes of making a change in the crew’s work ethics. There are three heartless people here, the one that hit the cat, the one who painted it and finally the one who published this.
