CIRCLEVILLE — Janet Dalton Roberts, 80, passed away Aug. 11, 2019, in Circleville. She was born Oct. 14, 1938, in Richfield to Vernon and Clara Edwards Dalton. She married George Wallace Roberts, Aug. 14, 1961, in the Salt Lake temple. He preceded her in death Oct. 16, 2013.
Janet was a loving mother. She loved to read, garden, hike, sew and going on adventures with her grandchildren. She graduated from Brigham Young University and became a dietician. While living in Colorado, she worked for the food services at a local school part-time so she could be home when her children returned home from school. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings in the primary and relief society. She and Wallace were ordinance workers in the St. George temple for many years.
She is survived by children, Brett Dalton Roberts and Joyce Roberts, both Aurora, Colorado; Stephanie Woodall, Orem; sons-in-law, Todd Jones, Cameron Park, California; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Connie Lee Jones; grandchildren, Trevor Jones and Kylee Jones; great-granddaughter, Amelia Lynn Jones; and sister, Linda Dalton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at noon in the Circleville 2nd Ward, where friends may call prior to the services from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Circleville Cemetery.
