Wayne Lee Wilson, age 61, died May 19, 2013, at his home in Richfield.
He was born Nov. 3, 1951, in Pontiac, Mich., a son of James Edwin and Juanita Anne Losey Wilson.
Wayne joined the United States Army when he was 17 and served his country during the Vietnam era. He was in the Army for 10 years.
Wayne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He worked at Flying J in Richfield for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
Wayne is survived by two sisters, Patricia Anne and Randall Roberts, Annabella; Judith Francis Leichty, Puyallup, Wash.; his best friend and caregiver, Mary Mangum, Richfield; and her two children, Katelyn Sauter and Ronald Sauter; and good friends, Cindy and Rob Hyde, Richfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister and two brothers, Mary Bernice Warrick, Robert Joseph Warrick and Karl Patrick Wilson.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 31, at 1 p.m., at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery, 17111 South Camp Williams Road in Bluffdale. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Thursday, May 30, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Interment with military honors accorded by the Disabled American Veterans Post #6 and the Utah Honor Guard will be in the Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery.
