Carolyn Jill Howard Sewall, 82, passed away March 20, 2020, in Richfield. She was born Dec. 7, 1937, in Richfield to James Arthur and Bessie Zelnora Neilson Howard.

She married Harold E. Gramse Nov. 26, 1955, in Fredonia, Arizona. They lived in California from 1955 to 1957. They moved back to live on the farm in Monroe until 1963, then moved to Salt Lake until 1969. They had two sonsKim (Betty) Gramse, Richfield; and Kerry “Jon” (Lisa) Gramse, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. They later divorced.

She then married Peter Michael Sewall in Hobbs, New Mexico, Sept. 26, 1970; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti temple. They added Jamie Sewall (Scott) Robinson, San Antonio, Texas, to their family. They lived in Lovington, New Mexico, until 2006. When Mike retired they moved to Koosharem, then in 2018 they moved to Richfield.

Jill was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the Relief Society, primary and gospel doctrine classes and playing the organ and piano. She loved to camp, ride dirt bikes and garden. Her hobbies were quilting and crocheting. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and learned of her first great-great-grandchild that will be arriving in September.

Jill is survived by her husband Peter Michael Sewall; three children; nine grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Barbara Howard Watts.

She was preceded in death by parents; and sister, Ann (Glynn) Howard Pollock.

Cremation services have been held and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
