Betty Lou Larsen Worley, 97, passed away Nov. 3, 2019, in Monroe. She was born March 24, 1922, in Monroe to Elliott and Marion Clementina Morrison Larsen. She married Leland B. Duffin Nov. 19, 1945, in Salt Lake; they later divorced. She married Dr. William Raymond Worley, Jr. Sept. 14, 1968, in Richfield. The marriage was solemnized March 22, 1974, in the Manti temple. He preceded her in death Jan. 6, 2000.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Betty Lou served in many callings and loved to participate in road shows and musicals. She was part of the Sevier Stake Centennial Committee. She was a member of various bridge clubs. She and Bill loved spending time on their houseboat at Lake Powell, flying their plane, traveling and spending time at the park model in St. George.
Betty Lou is survived by her children, Lisa (Mark) King, Monroe; John (Karen) Worley, Richfield; Judi Worley (Charlie Brenner), Washington; Robyn (Parvin) Church, Salt Lake City; daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Duffin, West Valley City; Shauna Knowlton; 22 grandchildren; and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Gregory Duffin, Dr. Michael Duffin and Dr. Michael Worley; great-granddaughter, Kycie Jai Terry; and siblings, Elliott Deen Larsen and Max (Maida) Larsen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, at noon, in the Magleby Mortuary chapel, 50 South 100 West in Richfield, where friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m., or Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
