James was the owner and operator of an auto mechanic shop for many years. He was also a member of the Richfield Elks Lodge. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, skiing and prospecting.
He will be greatly missed.
James is survived by his loving wife, Katherine, Richfield; and sister, Sidney Graves, Hurricane.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor and Harold Soyka.
James wanted to donate his body to the University of Utah Body Donor Program, because of his love for the University of Utah, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University isn’t accepting any body donations now.
