MONROE – South Sevier summer tennis is a program designed to teach fundamental tennis skills and promote fitness. No experience is necessary. Classes will take place on the tennis courts in Monroe and will be taught by Amy Robinson in partnership with the United States Tennis Association and Net Generation. 

Classes will begin Monday, June 15, and run through Thursday, July 9. The program is being broken into three categories for participants – 

• Advanced – girls and boys in ninth through 12th grades; classes will be 7:30 to 9 a.m., Monday through Thursday; there is a $100 fee, which incudes a shirt.

• Intermediate – girls and boys in sixth through eighth grades; classes will be 9 to 10 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays; there is a $50 fee, which includes a shirt. 

• Beginning – girls and boys in third through fifth grades; classes will be 9 to 10 a.m., Mondays and Wednesdays; there is a $50 fee, which includes a shirt.

There is a multiple sibling discount available.
