“Our kids swam well and looked good in the water,” said Christol Anderson, head coach. “We were happy to come away with the win for both the boys’ and girls’ teams. It’s a morale boost, and it’s just fun to see them grow and learn as a team.
“We have a lot of new swimmers on the team this year, which means a lot of teaching and learning. Due to such, we had quite a few disqualifications, but we’d rather see them now than at the region or state competitions.”

“North Sanpete and Wasatch Academy are always fun for the kids to compete against,” Anderson said. “We didn’t know what to expect from Union and Altamont. Union’s team has grown to 48 swimmers this year. North Sanpete’s team has grown a lot as well. They have some great swimmers on their team and our kids were excited to race them.
“We are looking forward to our two meets this week – the first is here in Richfield today, Nov. 14, and the second will be in Grand Friday, Nov. 15.”
