MONROE — The North Sevier High School girls’ basketball team headed to Monroe Nov. 30 to earn a 42-31 win over the Lady Rams.

The teams kept things close early on. The first quarter ended with North Sevier up 16-13. By halftime the Wolf Women were up 23-19. They never looked back in the second half.

Mayci Torgerson led the way for all scoring players, posting five 3-pointers on her way to 19 points for North Sevier. McKenzie Mason added 12 points to North Sevier’s total.

Kaylie Jenson led South Sevier’s scoring efforts with 17 points.

Mattie Blackburn added six points to South Sevier’s total, including one 3-pointer. 

North Sevier’s next game is tonight, Dec. 7, at Delta. 

South Sevier plays against Gunnison tonight also on the road.
