Wolves finish wrestling season

SALINA — The North Sevier High School’s wrestling team finished its season Saturday. 

The Wolves qualified 21 wrestlers for the state tournament, which was hosted at the Sevier Valley Center in Richfield.

Dahlance Smith (152) led the way for North Sevier. He defeated North Summit’s Peyton Pentz by fall, and then took two decision wins against Beaver’s Kaleb Barney and North Summit’s Michael Gren.

He then was pinned in the final match of the season by Altamont’s Dean Thompson.

Colt Ekker (182) picked up a sixth place finish for the Wolves.
