REDMOND — The second annual Midnight Madness Softball Tournament is scheduled for Friday, July 26, from 6 p.m., until the morning of Saturday, July 27, at Redmond Fields. The fields are located at 100 North State Street, Redmond.

The event is being hosted by the North Sevier High School softball program as a fundraiser and will be a co-ed, one-pitch, double elimination tourney. Teams can have a maximum of 12 players on the roster and must consist of at least five men and five women or more women than men.

Entry fees are $200 per team.

“We are excited for our second Midnight Madness tournament,” said Angela Lindley, head coach of NSHS’s softball team. “We had great feedback last year, a solid turnout and raised about $3,200. There were 14 teams and over 175 players from across Sevier County, North Sanpete and Utah County. We’re hoping to have even more teams this year and raise even more money for the softball program.”
