Red Hills BMX hosted Olympic Day races at the new outdoor track, located at 1361 North Main in Richfield June 6. The outdoor course was completed last year and is slated to host a variety of BMX competitions throughout the summer. 

The Olympic Day races consisted of 45 competitors who raced in 10 motos broken out into 10 different age and level divisions. 

The track is approximately 1,100 feet and consists of tabletops, step-ups, doubles, three berm turns, rollers and a rhythm section to challenge racers.

Red Hills BMX will host two events at the end of June – an Earned Double race Saturday, June 29, as well as a Gold Cup Qualifier Sunday, June 30. The upcoming events are expected to draw hundreds of racers to the area.
