MONROE — The Richfield High School cross-country team was able to stretch its muscles on a challenging course Aug. 28, in Monroe.
Hosted by South Sevier, the course saw Hayden Harward finishing with a time of 17:30 to lead the boys.
Nick Woolsey added a second place finish for Richfield. Tyler Johnson was third, followed by Mason Solt in fourth and Richard Crane in fifth.
South Sevier’s Blake Vellinga nabbed sixth as the first Ram to cross the line.
North Sevier’s Kelby Bosh posted a seventh place finish overall.
Richfield took the rest of the top 10 slots with Canyon Anderson, Tyler Saunders and Keenan Janke.
Richfield’s girls had a perfect score as Jamie Holt blazed the trail.
She was followed by Aspen Workman in second and Melissa Crane in third.
Hannah Steele and McKenna Alger took fourth and fifth, respectively.
Elena Torgersen and Karlee Thomas rounded out Richfield’s top seven.
South Sevier’s Lainey Obray snagged eighth place, followed by Sarah Barben.
Richfield’s Carli Begay finished in 10th place.
