BICKNELL – Wayne High School’s Lady Badger volleyball team split the week on the road. The Lady Badgers defeated the Lady Diamondbacks of Diamond Ranch Academy, 3-0, in Hurricane, Oct. 2. The Lady Badgers then suffered a tough 3-0 loss to the Lady Tigers in Milford, Oct. 8.

Members of the Red Hills BMX team competed in the 2019 Utah State BMX Championship, Sept. 21. Riders earned their place in the state competition by competing in various state qualifier races throughout the year.

 SALINA – North Sevier High School’s Wolves lost a road game to the Rams, 40-12, in Parowan Friday evening. The loss leaves North Sevier with a 0-5 record in the region and a 2-6 overall record with two conference games remaining in the regular season.

 MONROE – For the first time in recent history, South Sevier High School’s entire tennis team has qualified for the state tournament. The doubles portion of the region tournament was hosted by SSHS Friday and Saturday in Monroe to determine which players advance to the state tournament.
