Citing concerns from the global COVID 19 virus, a regional singles social for single adults ages 31 and older has been canceled.

The cancellation is in compliance with a request from Utah Gov. Gary Herbert that all gatherings of 100 people or more be postponed for at least the next two weeks. The governor's office made the announcement Thursday.

The event was scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at 1 p.m., but has been postponed indefinitely.

Entertainment for this activity will be by an Irish string ensemble, who will provide music fitting for St. Patrick’s Day. The event will include a catered lunch.

This social is for all stakes within Sanpete, Sevier and Wayne counties and the Fillmore Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and is hosted by the Monroe, Richfield, Central Valley, Richfield and Richfield East stakes.
