Reaper school drive ends

Chet Torgerson, left, Lisa Crane, Jennifer Madsen and Chad Lloyd sift through boxes full of supplies donated to area students during The Reaper’s annual school supply drive Aug. 15.

The Richfield Reaper’s annual school supply drive resulted in several boxes full of materials to help students who may have a hard time getting what they need to start the academic year.

The Richfield Reaper has many wonderful patrons and readers who are giving and caring. This year, donations made at the Reaper’s office during our back to school drive have been made in abundance.

People donated scissors, pencil sharpeners, containers of hand sanitizer, glue, colored pencils, erasers, pencil boxes, pencils, pens, crayons, markers and highlighters, notebook paper, notebooks, folders, backpacks, coats and other miscellaneous items.

The items were delivered to Sevier School District to be distributed to students who need them Aug. 15.

Further donations can be made directly to Sevier School District, located at 180 East 600 North in Richfield, or by taking them to the main office of a specific school.

The Richfield Reaper thanks each of our readers for the time and effort given to our school supply drive this year.
